BNENC have been addressing the issue of gang & street culture and young people causing anti-social behaviour within the Everton area.

BNENC’s Specialised Out Reach Teams (SORT’s) work in hotspot areas of Anti-Social Behaviour that have been highlighted by local residents and Merseyside Police as a major concern and problem.

The Specialised Youth Outreach Teams funded via City Safe have been deployed in a number of areas throughout North Liverpool Communities on a Friday & Saturday Evening.

Winner of The Merseyside Criminal Justice Awards 09 For Helping to Reduce Youth Crime

Recently BNENC’s SORT’s Project won recognition and support from Merseyside Police Authority in its first ever Community Award Ceremony held at The Radison Hotel in Liverpool. The Police Authority made an Award to BNENC for its work in engaging hard to reach young people on the streets.
