Breckfield & North Everton Neighbourhood Council have just been awarded £19,555 of funding for physical fitness activities and well-being programmes.
The award secured from Funding from The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust will pay for health workshops, trips out walking, football, cycle mechanic classes and counselling.
BNENC’s Kick Start 2 Health programme is now pulling together a timetable of activities for community members and veterans to engage in and to break down barriers and build relationships and friendships in the wider community.
